What If? Wednesday!

Here's my last post of 2011!  Where has the year gone!?  Today we have another What If Wednesday sketch for you at The House That Stamps Built!  Head on over there to see the sketch and get the details!

For my take on the sketch I have used some paper from the local craft store that I just had to pick up! :)  I thought it nice and festive at the time, and it just worked perfectly with Repeat Impressions stamp 2104-H Boy with Sled.

SOTW - Celebration Burst

Hello and happy Wednesday to you all!  I hope Christmas was as exciting and fun for all of you as it was for me!  We had fun with family and food all day yesterday!

Today it's on to thinking about the New Year!  Repeat Impressions has a new stamp of the week available at 50% off!  Check out The House That Stamps Built for all the details!  

The featured stamp is  3808-I Celebration Burst which I have used as a background.  All of the gold on this card is embossed.  The other Repeat Impressions stamps I used are 1133-F New Year, and 3811-H Champagne Bottle.

Repeat Impressions - Designer Choice Challenge

Today over at The House That Stamps Built our lovely and talented Makiko has challenged us to make a shaped card this week!  

I have used nestabilities labels 8 set to make my shaped card.  The overlays on the front is dry embossed with the dots embossing folder.  The front panel used Repeat Impressions stamp 2719-K Lg Pine Tree in different shades of blue to add depth and dimension.  A little diamond dust on the trees and ribbon finishes it off!

I hope everyone is getting excited for Christmas!  I know I am!

Totally Stampalicious Monday - Make it Sparkle!

Dec 14th - What If Wednesday?

Hello!!!  We have a great sketch for you today at The House That Stamps Built!  Here it is:

For my card I have paired Repeat Impressions image 8812-J Knit Cap Penguin (lg) with some paper and ribbon I picked up at a local craft store.  I loved the sketch and wanted to "wrap" up my card to make it look like a package!

Repeat Impression's SOTW - Snow Sledding

Good morning again!  Time again to show you another stamp of the week for Repeat Impressions!  Make sure you head on over to The House That Stamps Built to see how you can get 4712-J Snow Sledding at 50% off this week!

I have stamped 4712-J Snow Sledding on a wood "slice" my husband made.  He sliced a few of these so we could make ornaments out of them!  After stamping, the color is painted on.  I have sprayed a clear acrylic gloss to seal the paint on the wood.

Dream Valley - Our Last Post of the Year!

Welcome and happy Sunday!  We had our annual Christmas party yesterday and I had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends.....and eating lots of food of course!

Today at Dream Valley we are doing a simple and easy challenge:  CHRISTMAS!  

I have made a clean and simple card using Stampin' Up set Over The River.  I have colored it with my copics and added some stickles to the snow.

Repeat Impression's DCC - Bookmark

Hello and happy Wednesday to everyone!  Today sees me baking and baking to get ready for our annual Christmas party!

I have used two Repeat Impressions stamps for my bookmark.  6015-J Holidays Vertical, and 307-D Holly Sprig.

Totally Stampalicious Monday!

Good morning!  Sorry this post is so late, but I have finally managed to get the kids all packed for school and they are out waiting for the bus!  No "work" for me today, but I am working like crazy trying to get the house clean and the baking done for our Christmas party next week!

Today at Totally Stampalicious we are dreaming of a white Christmas!  We would like to see some snow on your card/project. 

For mine I have used Scarlette Mistletoe.  You can find it here in the Totally Stampalicious store.  I have embossed my snow!

I would like to add this to the challenge over at Quirky Crafts.  They are looking for some snow as well! I also think this would work for the challenge over at Here Come the Boys; they say to make something for the men in your life, and I know the men in mine would enjoy this card! lol

DCC Challenge - Christmas Snowflake

Hello again and happy Wednesday to you all! It's my turn to host the Designer's Choice Challenge over at The House That Stamps Built! I chose a simple challenge with a twist. We'd like to see a Christmas card, but it must include SNOWFLAKES!

Here's my card!

I have used all Repeat Impression stamps of course! I heat embossed 8805-K Snowflakes and 4603-F Got Snow on kraft paper with blue ink and clear embossing powder. 2003-G Twig Hair Snowman was stamped on white paper and colored with my copics.

Quick post from me today as the crazy holiday season is gearing up!  With Thanksgiving at the end of the week and the local Christmas craft fair on top of our own Christmas party to plan things are a little nuts around here!

Have a great time with this one!  For my card I have used Repeat Impressions stamp 8402-M My Sunshine.  I loved coloring this stamp with my copics, and thought that the face on this sunflower would be perfect to put a little bit of crystal effects to "pop" it up!

Here's my card:

I have used a rub-on set I found at a local craft store to pair with this image.  The words and the tree are part of the rub-on set.  I really saw this cat in my mind as having to have a Christmas tree to play under!  Paper is from Stampin' Up and the ribbon is from my stash.  After I put this card together I sprayed it with a pearl coat spray.

It's 3-D at Totally Stampalicious!

For my project I have made a mug filled with peppermint cocoa mix and a long handled mixing spoon! For the tag I have used Poppi Cocoa that you can find here at the Totally Stampalicious store. I have colored this cute penguin with my copics and adhered her to a red backing.
