Make Lemonade

I just want to say HAPPY EASTER everyone!

Also, it's time for another Dream Valley Challenge!  This time we would like you to:  Say It With Words!

Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments!  One winner will receive 3 images of their choice!  Awesome!

I have made a CAS card using a Meljen's digi image.  I printed it out on white paper and then colored it with copics.  I used a yellow for the lemon and lemonade, and a blue to make the sunburst around the sentiment.

That's it, just a clean and simple card today!  I hope you enjoy the nice spring weather we have been having!  Have a great Easter!

CAS Challenge at Riley and Company

It's new challenge day at Riley and Company!  Can I just expound for a minute on how much I love all the Riley and Company and Funnybones stamps!?!  They totally fit my level of humor!  Take my card for the CAS challenge:

Some days I wake up and think this!  Don't you?  I just had to add googlie eyes on the ink spots.  I think it fits.  The image is called Good Attitude.  You can find it HERE.

So yes, if you haven't guessed yet, the challenge on the blog is to create something Clean and Simple!  Don't forget to make your project with a Riley and Company or Funnybones image.  If you don't have one, you can shop HERE!

Here's another picture of the card that I played around with on PicMonkey.  If you haven't checked this free photo editor out, I suggest you do.  I'm starting to get addicted to it!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Imagination Crafts - anything goes
Lexi's Creations - Focus on the Sentiment
Without Words - gentlemen only

Have a great week!

How to Color Riley

How to Color Riley

Or in this case how to color Sophie!
The design team is posting between challenges to help those of you with Riley the Moose and Company stamps.  If you have ever wondered how we color our Moose, make sure you check out the blog and the design team links below.  We have many mediums and color combinations for you to check out!

For this post I have used this Sophie Cheerleader card that I made a few weeks back:

Here's a close-up of the image so you can see the coloring:

I used Copic markers to color Sophie.  For her dress and pom-poms I used R32, R37, and R30.
For her body I used E35 and E47.  For the antlers I used R30 again, and W1 to go around the whole image.  The glitter was added with a glue pen and diamond dust.

Here are the links to the design team so you can check out their coloring:

Easter at Dream Valley

Good morning!  It has been a very busy week here!  My son made the school baseball team, woo hoo!  My husband is coaching his town team, and my daughter has started softball.  Three teams, oh my!  I am very ready for April vacation and some relaxation time!  The best part is that vacation starts just after Easter.  A fun family holiday to start everything off!

Speaking of Easter.....we are having an Easter challenge over at Dream Valley this week!  What a great segue, huh?!  LOL  Our sponsor for this challenge is:  Mulberry Crafts.  One winner will get a goody bag!

For my card I have used Bugaboo stamp Scene it Easter.  I colored this with copics, the brightest and most colorful that I had!  The paper is from Basic Grey - Sweet Threads, and the sheer ribbon is some I had in my stash.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Catch the Bug - Anything goes
Open minded challenges - animal antics
Doodle Challenge - spring color challenge
Simply Create Too - Easter and/or bunnies

Have a great week and don't forget to play in our challenge at Dream Valley!

Riley and Company - Monochromatic

Good morning everyone!  Today over at the Riley and Company blog we have a new challenge for you.  This time we would like to see you make a monochromatic card using your Riley and Company or Funny Bones images.

I have made my monochromatic card using all purples.  The paper is some that my mother had picked up for me, so I'm not sure of the company.  I love how she picked me some different patterns of the same color so they would complement each other.  Thanks mom!

The sentiment I used is a Funny Bones stamp called A Job of a Best Friend that you can find HERE at the Riley and Company store.  If you haven't stopped by to look at the Funny Bones sentiments, you really should!  They have so many great sayings and will keep you laughing for hours!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge - black and white plus one
Word Play Saturday - anything goes

Don't forget to ink up your Riley stamps and play along in our challenge!  Have a great week!
