CAS Masculine Card

Today at the Totally Stampalicious blog we are looking for your masculine cards or projects.  I have made a clean and simple card using Totally Stampalicious stamp Gus Golf.

I have to say that Gus and Stella are some of my favorite stamp characters, and I am very happy that I get to play with them in RUBBER!  Thank you Becky and Joycelyn!

Come link up your project at Totally Stampalicious, and who knows, maybe YOU could win a prize!

Floral Peace

Today at Repeat Impressions there is a new stamp of the week!  They are showcasing 8712-D Floral Peace.  You can find all the details on how to get this awesome rubber stamp at 50% off for this week only by checking out the Repeat Impressions' blog The House That Stamps Built.

I have used this stamp as a background, only to find when I took the picture that I glued it upside-down!!!  Oops.  I didn't want to pull it apart and possibly rip it, so I just left you with my goof!

Have a great day!

For a special lady at Dream Valley!

Wow!  Time is flying and it is time for another challenge at Dream Valley!  This time we would like to see something for a special lady in your life!  We are sponsored by the lovely Krista at Saturated Canary!

Winner of this challenge gets a $10 gift certificate to her store!  Awesome!

The design team was given some beautiful digis to play with, and I have used the one entitled "I Got This Boys."  You can find it HERE in Krista's shop.

I loved this image so much that I didn't want to distract you with lots of background.  That's why I chose the black and white theme.

I hope you play along with us at Dream Valley!

Check this out!

Today at The House That Stamps Built there is a new sketch to play around with!  I was unable to make a card this time around, but I want to show you what my 6 year-old daughter has done with the sketch:

She has used Repeat Impressions stamp 3309-K Scarecrow and Friend.  The paper is from my scrap box which she loves to play in!  After she colored in the scarecrow she sponged a blue background.

Awesome!  Another crafter in the making!

Paper Piecing at Totally Stampalicious

It's a Totally Stampalicious Monday!  I for one am enjoying the beautiful weather we are having here in New Hampshire!

We have another challenge today!  This week we would love to see some paper piecing on your cards!  Make sure you link up your card for a chance to win a prize!

Surprise, surprise I have made another clean and simple card!  I stamped Scarlette Cupcake that you can find HERE at the Totally Stampalicious Store.  I have paper pieced the cupcake frosting and wrapper.  I was excited to use some of my new twine from Close to My Heart and really like how it looks with the buttons!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge - buttons and thread
Crafty Emma's - paper piece it

Have a great day!

Pinwheel Positive

Today at Repeat Impressions there is another stamp of the week that you can pick up for 50% off!  Make sure you head on over to The House That Stamps Built for all the details 'cause this only lasts for a week!!!

This week they are featuring 6009-M Pinwheel Positive.  For my card I have kept it clean and simple.  That seems to be the kick that I am on lately.  :)  I stamped the image in black on the card front and added the sentiment in black as well.  Then I stamped the pinwheel on another piece of paper in blue and red.  The blue and red pieces are cut out and adhered with pop dots.

I hope you all have a good week!

Earth Tones

Good morning!  It's a beautiful Sunday!  Today at Dream Valley we are looking for cards or projects using earth tones.

This fortnight out sponsor is:

The winner gets £20 to spend in the store!

For my card I have used the Stampin' Up set Little Boys.  I stamped the image and sentiment on kraft paper.  I had never colored with copics on kraft paper before, so I wasn't sure how it would work out.  It just turns out that you can't use the lightest blending tones on the kraft because it only looks like it's wet instead of a color.  The darker colors show up better.  I didn't want to color in the whole image, because I wanted the blues and browns to really show up like those photos you see where one color is popping out.  Couldn't resist the green frog though!

I would like to add this to the following challenges:

Drunken Stampers - use kraft
Our Creative Corner - our boys and their toys
Secret Crafter - men's card

Have a great week!

Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions

There's another Designer's Choice Challenge at The House That Stamps Built!  Cheri has challenged us to make a card with a bird as the central image.

I decided to make a brayered background, with green at the bottom and blue for the sky.  I stamped Repeat Impressions' stamps 2617-D Tiny Bird, 4317-E Birdhouse, and 5105-I Cloud Silhouette on another piece of white paper.  I cut them out and placed them on the brayered card front to make a scene.

Have a great week!

It's Another What if? Wednesday!

Hello again and happy Wednesday!  Today at The House That Stamps Built we have another sketch challenge for you.  Here it is:

I have used Repeat Impressions stamp 8402-M My Sunshine.  I colored the bloom with copics and cut it out from the rest of the stamp.  I also cut off the sentiment at the bottom and put it in a strip on top of the card.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Paper Pretties - April Showers Bring May Flowers

Make sure you play along in our sketch challenge for a chance to win some goodies!  Have a great day!

Anything BUT a Card at Totally Stampalicious

The challenge this week at Totally Stampalicious is to make anything but a card.

I made a gift bag using a Splitcoaststampers tutorial that you can find HERE.  It was a pretty simple design using a brown paper bag and cardstock to make the front and back.  The Totally Stampalicious stamp set I used is called Stella Peeker Darth Vader.

Here's a picture of the back of the bag:

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Gingerloft - anything but a card
Drunken Stampers - #85 I'll drink to that!

Have a great week!
