COFFEE!!!!!

It's that time again already!  Time for our Riley and Company Design Team challenge on the Riley and Company blog.  This time our challenge is hosted by Monica.  She said seeing as how it is National Coffee Day we should have some coffee themed cards.

I thought this was the perfect time to showcase one of Riley and Company's newest stamps just released this month.  It is called I Drank Coffee and you can find it HERE at the Riley and Company store.

I have paired it with Midge with Coffee.  You can find that image HERE.  The papers I have used come from Close to My Heart.  I also used the Big Shot to cut out all the circles.

Here is the front of the card:

and here is the inside:

I have a few more cards to show you from the new stamp release, so check back in the next few days for more Funnybones stamps!  While you are waiting you can shop for them at the Riley and Company Store!

Have a great week!

Send in the Clowns!

Can you believe that it has been another two weeks already?  No, I can't either!  It has been a whirlwind of a time.  I am typing this on the iPad because I am exhausted and can't get off the couch. We have had baseball and softball all weekend, split some wood, then work today, followed by another baseball team tryout.  My kids sure do love their sports!

We are into sports of another kind with our design team's challenge.  It is called Send in the Clowns.  Heather has challenged us to use something to do with clowns, the circus, or funny sayings.

I have used a Riley stamp called Cannon Riley that you can find HERE at the Riley and Company store.  The sentiment is from the Circus Words set and you can find that one HERE.

Make sure you check out the rest of the design team's creations:

Frances          Heather            Joy
Kelli           Monica     Sandye          Vera

I will see you again soon!  Have a great week!

Back to School

Good morning!  Well, it's that time again where we are all headed back to school.  In my case, work.  Ick.  Our theme for this week at the Riley and Company blog is Back to School in honor of this!

I have to say that I really have had a challenge these last few years learning the "new" way of doing math.  The Math Problems sentiment seems to really hit home, and make me wonder why no one has questioned this!

I have paired this sentiment with Schoolgirl Sophie.  You can find the sentiment HERE and the image HERE in the Riley and Company Store.

Check out the rest of the design team's creations and leave them some love:

Frances          Heather    Jackie            Joy
Kelli             Monica     Sandye          Vera

I would like to add this to the following challenges:

Artistic Inspiration - anything goes with a hint of school
Dream Valley - Back to School

Have a great week!
