Keep it Clean And Simple

That's the challenge today at Totally Stampalicious!  We want to see some clean and simple cards!  We hope you play along for a chance to win some prizes!

For my project I have made a card using a simple direct to paper technique.  I swiped the green, yellow and orange ink pads from Stampin' Up over the areas that I wanted.  When that had dried, I stamped Gus in his truck and the sentiment from Totally Stampalicious set New Truck Gus.

My husband thinks this set is the best...hmmmm....:P

I would like to add this to the following challenges:
Fashionable Stamping Challenge - Make it a guy thing
Crafts for Eternity #56 - Clean and Simple

Thanks so much for looking and have a great week!

This one's for the men...

Our new challenge this week at Totally Stampalicious is to make a card or project for the men in your life.  I have used Totally Stampalicious set Gus Fishing.

I stamped the image on glossy paper and used browns/grays to make it seem like an aged photo.  After I finished the coloring I sprayed it with an acrylic sealer gloss so it won't fade.

I would like to add this card to the following challenge:

The Crafty Pad - Something for the boys

Have a great week!

Repeat Impressions - Sittin' Pretty

It's that time again!  Time for a new stamp of the week at Repeat Impressions.  Head on over to The House That Stamps Built for more details and the code for shopping!

The stamp this week is 2607-K Sittin' Pretty, this awesome cat!  I have paired it with another Repeat Impressions stamp sentiment 8208-F Hairdo.

Have a great week!

We're ANIMALS at Dream Valley!

Yeah, couldn't help myself! tehe  Our challenge this fortnight over at Dream Valley is, you guessed it, ANIMALS!  This time around our very own Melly has put together a surprise package for one lucky winner!

For my card I have used a bear stamp from Totally Stampalicious set Occupation Bears that you can find here.  I also used a sentiment from another Totally Stampalicious set called Stella Nurse.

I chose to keep this clean and simple as it's a get well card.  Can't be more appropriate for me right now as I have been 48 hours with a fever and aches.  Totally ready for this to be over.

Have a great week, and don't forget to play in our ANIMALS challenge at DREAM VALLEY!

PS:  Thanks to all my followers for helping me reach my first 100!!!

It's challenge time again at Totally Stampalicious!  We are challenging you to start making those Valentines Day cards and gifts!  It's coming right up!  I haven't started making valentines for the kids to take to school yet, but I thought I'd make this type of gift for them to give to their teachers:

I have taken a dark chocolate Lindt candy bar and stamped on it's empty label.  They come without markings if you buy them in a bulk pack!  hehe  Don't you buy your chocolate in bulk!?!  I used my new nestabilities to make the tag, along with the new stamp set Monkey Love that you can find at the Totally Stampalicious store!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Penny Black and More - Love and Hearts
Sentimental Sundays - Ribbon + sentiment
The Squirrel and the Fox - critters
Paper Playtime - tag+sentiment

Have a great day and I hope you play along with us!

RI SOTW - Winter Tree

Here's my second post on the Monday of a busy week!  Luckily I am ahead of schedule this time instead of behind!

Repeat Impressions has another Stamp of the Week available for purchase at 50% off for this week only.  Please visit their blog The House That Stamps Built for all the details.

The stamp we are showcasing is called 1609-J Winter Tree

I have made a swing card with my stamping.  I did it the hard way, cutting and measuring, but let me tell you I won't be doing that again! :P  Repeat Impressions actually sells these pre-cut and ready to decorate so you and I don't have to go through the rigamarole.  You can find the swing cards here, and the coordinating swing stamps here.
