ABC Challenge - W is for Wedding

That's right May flowers bring June brides, so we want to see your wedding creations at ABC Challenges!  Our sponsor this week is Sugar Nellie / Funkykits!  They have some great products, so make sure you check them out!

For my wedding card I have used the Bride digi from Sassy Studio Designs.  I colored her with my copics:  E000, E00, E11, R22, E93, E18, E35, B00, B95.

The paper was a double sided one I got at a local craft store.  I just cut it down and flipped one over, and then added a ribbon and bow at the seam.  A piece of pink paper from my scrap box was used behind the image and some faux stitching was added.  The last step was a pearl for her hair and some more around the edges.

I am also adding this card to the following challenges:

Stampin' Royalty - photo inspiration
Hooked on Challenges - anything goes + DT call

I hope you have a great rest of the week, and don't forget to join us in our challenge at ABC!

V is for Variety of Embellishments

Hello and happy Wednesday to all you bloggers!  It's starting to feel like summer outside!

Today at ABC Challenges the letter is V.  V is for a variety of embellishments.  We would like to see all sorts of embellishments on your project!  This weeks challenge is being sponsored by Stamp Fairy. Be sure to check out the store because there are so many cute whimsy digistamps for all sorts of projects!   They have also given us some digis to work with, and I have used Linda Fairy 4.

I have colored the image with my copics and cut it out using a circle nestabilities.  I then layered that panel on a small doily (which has been sitting in my embellishment box FOREVER!), and added some black pearls to the doily and a white pearl on her bow.  The background  I made on a white sheet folded in half.  I did some two step stamping using the Petal Prints set from Stampin' Up.  The top layer (black) of the stamping I heat embossed.  I also added some ribbon that I pleated.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Ribbon Carousel - anything goes
Woodware USA - use a forgotten embellishment (doily)

Have a great rest of the week, and when I come back I will have some AWESOME news!

ABC Challenge - U is for Unusual Fold

This week Team B at ABC Challenge would like you to use an unusual fold on your card or project.  We are sponsored this week by Whiff of Joy:

They are donating this adorable stamp:

For my card I have made a Pentagon Petal Card using the template that I found here.

I traced and cut out two of the shapes using white paper.  The stamps come from a Stampin Up set called Sparkling Summer.  The outside I stamped the popsicle over and over with Momento Tuxedo Black.  I colored them in with my copics.  Because the copics showed through I made the inside on the other cut out and then taped them together.  On the inside I sponged blues and browns to make a beach scene and stamped the chair over it.  Colored the chair in with my copics and sponged a bit more blue on the petals.  The copics I used were:  R46, YR04, YG03, E11

I can't wait to see what unusual fold you show us at ABC!
