Hello and happy Sunday to all of you! It has been a beautiful weekend here in New Hampshire. The rain of last week was gone and we had lots of sunshine and you know what that means don't you? The flowers are blooming.........which brings us to our challenge this week at Dream Valley Challenges: FLOWERS! Ha! How's that for a segue?! I know, it's pretty bad when you crack yourself up huh?
Right! So....flowers! Our sponsor for this challenge is One Stop Card Crafts and they have donated this:
For my card I have created my very first round easel card! It was so easy after I read this tutorial here. Thanks Beate!
Supplies:
Stamp: sentiment from Stampscapes
Die Cuts: circle and scallop circle nestabilities
Punches: all from Punch Bunch
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Bashful Blue from Stampin' Up
I'm entering this into these challenges:
My Mum's Craft Shop - flowers
Craft Your Passion - layers
Charisma Cardz - April showers/May Flowers
Craft us Crazy - mom's/flowers
Do You Stack Up - make it pop 3D
Little Miss Muffet - Die Cut/ punches
Sweet Stampin' - try something new
Have a great week everyone and don't forget to show us your FLOWERS at DREAM VALLEY!
Yes, I am glad to see the sun returning (although for how long HA) I wondered if planting some flowers with the kiddos would fare well, since we always get at least one more cold night in May! I just love your card, the sentiment is fantastic, and the unique way it opens as well. Thanks for the link to the tutorial!
