Ribbons and Bows

Hello again!  It's been a busy weekend of baseball again!  My son's all-star team had a tournament this past weekend.  They only won one game, but I think they are starting to come together as a team.  It's wonderful to see all the improvements!  Best of luck next week with the Area Tournament guys!

Ok, on to crafting! lol  Today at Totally Stampalicious the challenge is Ribbons and Bows.  Make sure you have at least one bow on your creation!  For my card I have used Stampalicious Scarlette that you can find HERE in the Totally Stampalicious store.

I have colored Scarlette with copics and used some of my daughter's new K&Company papers! :)  The flowers were made out of the same ribbon that is used in the bow.

I would like to add this to the following challenges:

Color Me Creative - big hair
Charisma Cardz - anything goes
Hanna and Friends - 2 patterned paper, one ribbon, three flowers
MarkerPOP - hair

Have a great week everyone, enjoy the 4th of July and all the fireworks!

One Layer Embossing

Hi there!  It's been a rainy start to the week so here I am with a quick post with something I whipped up yesterday.  It is a one layer card that I have made for the challenge at Less Is More.  The challenge is to use embossing on a one layer card.  I have heat embossed all of the black.  I am also entering into the challenge at Crafty Cardmakers for embossing.

I also used the challenge from The Crazy Challenge to make it pink and green.  This is made using pretty much all Stampin' Up products except for the ribbon.  This was my first time making a pleated ribbon, but I like how it turned out.  I made the rose from the same pink ribbon to coordinate.

Have a great day!
