Use Ribbon plus some News!

Hello blogging friends!  It's a special week here at Totally Stampalicious!  This WEDNESDAY we are pairing up with Ribbon Carousel for a combination new release blog hop!  Exciting!  Make sure you mark your calendars to join us!

In celebration of this event our challenge this week will be to USE RIBBON on your creations!  Ribbon Carousel gave us some awesome ribbons to use with our images, so I went ribbon happy!

My card this week is using Cheerleader Brat that you can find HERE at the Totally Stampalicious store.  I brayered some pinks and purples on the middle of the white cardstock and stamped the image and sentiment in black.  Ribbon Carousel ribbon tops it off!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

The Squirrel and the Fox - anything goes
Di's Digi Designs - Back to school
One Stop Craft - no floral embellshments

A quick fun card to start off the celebration!  See you on Wednesday!

Ps.  Check out the new promotion at the Totally Stampalicious store....you'll be glad you did!

Mmmmm Cupcakes!

Someone had a challenge for pink and brown a few weeks ago, and I had some leftover scraps....don't they just make the great cards?!

This card is 5" x 5", made with chocolate chip paper and some designer paper for the edge. All images are from a Craft Affair clear set called Life is Sweet. I put the cupcakes in the backgound on the brown paper with Versamark ink. The tag was punched with the Big Shot from the Sizzix die Card, Scallop w/Flowers. The "buttons" are stamped from the set and cut by hand and adhe
red with pop dots. I added pink ribbon to the designer paper strip and as a holder for the tag. This is definitely one of my favorite color combinations.

This card qualifies for the following challenges:

Pink Elephant #54- Use Ribbon

Thanks for taking a look at my cards!
