Good morning!  It is definitely fall here in the Northeast, and Halloween is just around the corner.  Kerin has challenged us at the Riley and Company blog to make a monochromatic pink card in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Here is mine:

I used one of the new Funnybones stamps called You Are Amazing.  You can find it HERE at the Riley and Company Store

Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter!

If you are looking for fun, cute and lovely digi stamps for your paper-crafting or web design projects, The Paper Shelter is your one-stop boutique! This growing catalogue of high-quality digi stamps with many different kind of options offers a multitude of themes such as everyday items, holidays, special occasions, children, adorable characters and creatures. Stamps are available in standard black and white line art, as well as in pre-coloured
format.Images are wonderful for colouring and make perfect additions to greeting cards and scrapbook albums.

Winner gets $20 gift voucher

For my card I have used a stamp from Bugaboo called Stella Love - Misery.  I stamped the image, made a mask for the center, then sponged pink around the outside of the image.  I thought the image and sentiment spoke for themselves! LOL

We are finally in our last full week of school for the year.  Things are a little bit hectic right now, so I will get out of here, clean up, and try to get some rest!

Have a great week!

Riley and Company - Monochromatic

Good morning everyone!  Today over at the Riley and Company blog we have a new challenge for you.  This time we would like to see you make a monochromatic card using your Riley and Company or Funny Bones images.

I have made my monochromatic card using all purples.  The paper is some that my mother had picked up for me, so I'm not sure of the company.  I love how she picked me some different patterns of the same color so they would complement each other.  Thanks mom!

The sentiment I used is a Funny Bones stamp called A Job of a Best Friend that you can find HERE at the Riley and Company store.  If you haven't stopped by to look at the Funny Bones sentiments, you really should!  They have so many great sayings and will keep you laughing for hours!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge - black and white plus one
Word Play Saturday - anything goes

Don't forget to ink up your Riley stamps and play along in our challenge!  Have a great week!

Stampscapes Dream - ABC DT

Hello again and happy Wednesday to everyone!  This is going to be a quick post because it's school vacation and the kids are keeping me hopping!  So far it's been a great week with the kids.  Today we are going to the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium and then the youngest is out for a sleepover...whew....

So it's Wednesday again and we're starting another challenge with the B Team at ABC Challenges!  This week's letter is S is for Sparkle!  That's right, lots of glitter and bling!  Our sponsor is One Stop Card Crafts, and they are offering this:

I have dug out my Stampscapes stamps to make a scene on white cardstock that is run through the big shot with Stampin' Up's top note die.  I love the top note, because it makes the flat panel look very elegant, don't you think?

Stamps: all Stampscapes:  Milky Way lg, Buck, Ledge, Dream sentiment
Paper:  Stampin' Up's white and night of navy
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black; all blues are Stampin Up:  Bashful Blue, Bordering Blue, Ballet Blue, Night of Navy; Stampin' Up Whisper White
Other Supplies:  glue pen, glitter, ribbon, colorbox stylus

Here's another picture of the glitter I have added to the stars in the sky and around the top note....

....and more glitter with the shiny silver ribbon!

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Bunny Zoe's Crafts - one for the boys
There She Goes - monochromatic
Woodware USA - die cut (top note)

Have a great day!
