Repeat Impressions - Stair Step Card

I hope everyone's week is going well for them.  At The House That Stamps Built I am sponsoring the Designer's Choice Challenge!  I have challenged the rest of the Rock Stars to make a stair step card.

I have made a center stair step card.  I know some people don't want to go through all the rigamarole of cutting one out, so I have good news for you!  Repeat Impressions sells packs of already prepared stair step cards!  You can find them HERE in the Repeat Impressions store!  Awesome!

I have used Repeat Impressions stamps 4218-K Whitetail Doe and Fawn, and 1507-J Grass Border to make a scene.

Make sure you head on over to the blog to check out the rest of the design teams creations!

Show your critters at Totally Stampalicious

Good morning.  We had quite an awesome blog hop last week!  Thanks to all that participated and left comments.

Today at Totally Stampalicious the challenge is to put some kind of critter on your card or project.  I have used one of the new release stamps called Party Penguins that you can find at the Totally Stampalicious store.

I colored it with copics and backed it with some black paper to make it pop.  The image looked good like that so I decided to make the card just black and white to show it off!

I hope you have a great week.  I know mine will be busy as I have an Uncle in critical condition at the hospital.  Please keep him in your thoughts.

Sketch Challenge at Repeat Impressions!

It's another What If? Wednesday today!  Head on over to The House That Stamps Built to see the sketch and play along!

I have used Repeat Impressions stamp 8719-G Flip Flops on my card.  I figured with the 80's plus weather we are having in the Northeast I should be thinking summer!  I colored the flip flops with copics and then made the rest of the card with paper from K&Company.

Hope everyone near me is enjoying the weather!  I know I will!

Color Challenge at Totally Stampalicious

Good morning again!  It's a Totally Stampalicious Monday!  The sun is shining and I was able to get out yesterday and grill!  Life is good!

Today at Totally Stampalicious the challenge is to use turquoise, purple and green on your projects.  I have to say that this one was a huge challenge for me as I don't normally use these type of dark colors.  Here's what I came up with:

The stamp set is called Nurse Margaret and can be found at the Totally Stampalicious store.  I colored Margaret with copics, cut around half of her, and cut the rest out with a straight edge cutter.  I decided to leave it clean and simple and just add library clips to the sentiments.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Good morning everyone!  Today at Dream Valley we are looking for your Easter creations!  We have two lovely sponsors this fortnight:

The first one is Mulberry Crafts:

At the moment we are focussing on providing miniature flowers made from genuine mulberry paper for crafts use - although we have a small selection of non -paper crafts too. Why mulberry paper? Because they are robust, realistic look and last longer than ordinary paper and it provide a sustainable income for people in the cottage industry. In due course we will be introducing more of other craft materials which is not related to mulberry paper.
The prize for a lucky winner is a wee Goody Bag

The second one is Meljen's Designs:

She illustrates whimsical rubber and digital images inspired by her kids and family. Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Sympathy Card

Today at The House That Stamps Built we have another designer's choice challenge this time brought to you by Lynette.  Lynette has challenged us to make a sympathy card.  This is especially appropriate right now as it has been a hard winter with a few deaths of family members and friends.

My card features Repeat Impressions sentiment 6103-J Thinking Vertical.  I decided to make a shaped card using a nestabilities die cut.  I embossed and cut out the top panel with the same die cut.  The inspiration for this card came from a card that a teammate from another stamping blog of mine made.  You can find it here, thanks Julie!

Have a great rest of the week!

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

Good morning and happy Monday to you all.  I have had an interesting weekend to say the least.  All of it culminating Sunday afternoon when I am trying to get through the hordes of laundry that has been piling up and realizing that the washer has stopped cleaning and spinning.  Lovely.  On top of all that my husband, in an attempt to fix it, gashed his arm open on the sharp metal.  Unfortunately we are going to have to go washer shopping tonight.

On a lighter note it is a nice and sunny beautiful day!  Days like this have me itching to get out and clean up the yard and search for spring flowers peeping up through the ground!  Flowers as it seems is the challenge over at Totally Stampalicious!  So totally appropriate for this weather!  We'd like you to MAKE YOUR OWN flowers and attach them to your card or project.

For my card I have used one of the newest sets offered at Totally Stampalicious called Funny Strollers.  I colored the image with copics.  The paper is from K&Company, and the flowers are all made with punches and a little bit of bling in the centers to really make them pop.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Let's Ink It Up:  Show us your flowers
Allsorts Challenge:  say it with flowers

Have a great week everyone!  Here's hoping nothing else breaks this week!

Stella is having a Spring Road Trip!

It's a Totally Stampalicious Monday today!  A new challenge and another chance to win a prize!  Come show us your spring themed card at Totally Stampalicious and you could have a chance to win too!

For my card I have used some bright colors from my new paper pack from K&Company.  I have paired that with Totally Stampalicious stamp set Road Trip Stella.

I would like to add this to the following challenges:
Gingerloft Challenge - spring
Penny Black and More - springtime
Paper Players - spring has sprung

Make sure you head on over to the blog to check out all the other eye candy from the rest of the design team!  I'm sure ready for spring aren't you?

Repeat Impressions - Cat Banner

Hello!  It's Monday again!  This week brings the kids back at school, and me back to work.  I loved the no schedule part of vacation, however I think the kids are ready to see their friends again!

Today at Repeat Impressions we have another Stamp of the Week.  This week we are featuring 2615-K Cat Banner.  Make sure you stop by Repeat Impressions' blog The House That Stamps Built for the details on how to get this featured stamp at 50% off!!!

For my card I have made a fairly simple design.  Inside the banner I have also used Repeat Impressions stamps 2617-D Tiny Bird, and 8614-D Find Beauty.

Have a great Monday!

Mother's Day at Dream Valley

Here in the States Mother's Day rolls around in May, but in the UK it's coming right up!  Get a head start on those Mother's Day projects and link them up with Dream Valley and maybe you could be the lucky winner!

This fortnight we have two sponsors:

One Stop Card Crafts who is donating this voucher to the store:

And Crafty Ribbons who is donating a goodie bag of ribbons!

For my project I have used a Stampin' Up set called Doodle This.  The sentiment is from another Stampin' Up set, but unfortunately I can't find the name of the set!  EEK!  Can anyone help me?  The circle is cut out of a scrap of dp I had in my stash.  I really liked how the flowers could look like they were sprouting out of the flourish.  I also added the pink pearls to accent the pink in the flowers.

I would like to add this to the following challenges:
Craft Your Days Away - Mother's Day
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle - use your stash
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Mother's Day

Have a great week and don't forget to play along with us at Dream Valley!
