This is one of my favorite House Mouse stamps, and it really goes well together with the black and white color scheme.

I have also done some paper piecing on the "eaten" strawberry on the far right, although it is somewhat difficult to see!

Dude Time Doodles Freebie Challenge

Just getting in a quick post tonight!  I'm entering this top note box into the challenge at Dude Time Doodles!  This is the last day for the freebie challenge, and I'm sneaking it in under the wire!  Phew.... I made it!

Not too impressed with the pictures this time.  I will have to update these tomorrow when there is more natural light.  It just doesn't do the green and gold justice!

Here's a sideways pic to see the box:

I'm also entering this into the challenge at Totally Stampalicious where they want glitter!

Have a great week!

Last LIIU DT Post

Hello again and happy Saturday to you!  I'm here today to show you my last post as a designer for Let's Ink It Up.  It is the end of the current team's term, and we are passing the torch!  Please check out the blog for the new designers and give them some love.

This month the challenge is Romance/Valentines.  Should be a good one with Valentine's Day right around the corner!

We have two sponsors again this month.  The first one is Whiff of Joy Stamps:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_dYVAAzPny2U/TGSphqZT7cI/AAAAAAAABG8/52UOqPCshbI/s1600/WoJLogo.jpg

with a prize of Willow with Champagne.

The second sponsor is Mad for Markers with the prize containing a set of three markers, a pack of A6 Xpress It cards, and a Copic swatch book!
What great prizes, so make sure you head over to Let's Ink It Up and play along!

So here's my project.

I have made a valentine with the Glitter Hearts stamp from House Mouse and the sentiment stamp from Hero Arts.  I have colored it with my copics and built the card out of some scraps. The die cut I used is the top note from Stampin' Up.  I don't know if you can see it, but I have glittered the hearts that are raining down on the little guy!

I have entered this card into these challenges:

House Mouse - hearts
Craft Your Passion - bling and red or hearts
Cupcake Craft - something on a farm
Secret Crafter Saturday - Valentine
Stampin' for the Weekend - valentine's day
Raise the Bar - Hearts

Thanks for looking!  Have a great weekend!
