Magnolia Spring Card

My first Magnolia card! I was so excited at how well my Tilda with Bike came out. She was super easy to color; just had trouble deciding between all the "girly" colors! Wasn't quite sure how to mount it as I'm not exactly a patterned paper gal, but it turned out ok. The flower is from Stampin' Up's Pretties Kit.
I love the spring card idea as it's easy to display the images. I got my directions from the Splitcoaststampers website. Here's the link to them:

Splitcoaststampers is a great resource for tips and techniques in card making. If you haven't checked it out yet I suggest a trip to the website......just plan for it taking a few hours! (LOL)

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Winter Stampbord Box

Ampersand Art is having a Stampbord contest. The first prize wins $125 worth of products! Check out the link below from the Stampscapes site for more info:

Here is my entry for the contest.......

I stamped Cabin with Fence in the middle, then Pond underneath. I filled in with Sedge Filler and then added Old Fence on the bottom edges. After stamping in black, I used the ColorBox Stylus and inked three tones of blue onto the Stampbord. I finished the inking with black around the edges. After inking I used an Ampersand Claybord Scratch Knife to highlight areas and to make the "snow."

Happy Crafting!

Moose in the Morning

This was my first attempt at an 8x10 Stampscapes scene. The Stampscapes stamps I used were: Cabin with Fence, Waterside Bluff Right and Left, Tree Trunk, Tree Trunk Trio, and Sedge Filler. The moose is from Stampin' UP set Yukon. I stamped the scene in black and then used a blender pen and sponge to color the scene. All inks are Stampin' UP.
