Flower's for Mom

Good morning!  It's challenge time again at Dream Valley Challenges!  This fortnight's challenge is to make a Mother's Day card.  Since it is Mother's Day in the UK (where our challenge is based) on the 30th of this month we here in the US are getting a jump start!  So happy to have cards made ahead of time! :)

Our sponsor for our Mother's Day Challenge is:  Kenny K!  The winner gets three images of their choice!  Awesome!

Here is my card:

I printed the sentiment from the computer and then sponged the kraft paper with brown inks.  The flower pot and flowers are cut using the Cricut cartridge On the Farm.  Such a quick and easy card that I made two!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Imagination Crafts - In Bloom
Natalie and Amy - Flowers
Stempelgarten - One Layer Card

Have a great week!

Riley and Company - Birthdays

Hello and welcome back.  In case you missed my first post, I have been chosen to be a designer for Riley and Company!  I am so excited because my stamps came in the mail this week, so I have been busy inking them up.  Yes, I actually have put ink to almost 75% of them already!  Very awesome!

Today we have another challenge at the Riley and Company Challenge blog.  The challenge is to make a birthday card with your Riley and Company or Funnybones stamps!

The image I have used is called Popping out of Cake Riley.  You can find it HERE at the Riley and Company store.  The sentiment is from another set called Dogwalker Riley.  HERE is the link for that one.

The kraft paper is from Close to My Heart, the orange is Stampin' Up, the patterned paper is from Basic Grey - Sweet Threads.

Here is a picture of the inside:

Great timing on this challenge because I needed to make a birthday card for my nephew who is turning eight.  Happy Birthday!

Gus Birthday

Welcome to the BIG birthday challenge we are holding at Dream Valley Challenges!  Our sponsor this time around is Robyn's Fetish!  The winner will receive three free digi stamps!

Here is my card for this challenge:

I colored Gus with copics and rounded the corners on the panel.  The word bubble is from the Cricut basic shapes cartridge.  The background paper is from Basic Grey - Sweet Threads line.

This is just a quick post tonight as I am feeling a bit under the weather.  I just want to go back and curl up on the couch! :(

I hope you have a great week and join us at Dream Valley!

My First Post for Riley and Company!

Good morning to everyone!  I am just super excited to have my first post for this amazing stamp company today!  Riley and Company and Funnybones have some extremely cute stamps and hilarious sentiments!  When you are through reading my post, make sure you head on over HERE to shop!

On the Riley and Company blog today we are having a challenge.  It is a sporting challenge.  The first public basketball game was played on March 11, 1892.  In honor of that please create a card with a sporting theme!  Remember to use a Riley image and link it up on the BLOG.

For my card I have used  Cheerleader Sophie.  Isn't she a cutie?!

I colored her with my new pink copics!  Yes, I celebrated the new DT spot with a splurge on copics!  For her dress and pom-poms I used R32, R37, and R30.
For her body I used E35 and E47.  For the antlers I used R30 again, and W1 to go around the whole image.

The pink paper is from a random company, and I'm not even sure which one!  It was in my stash.  The glitter paper was made for me by my daughter, because playing with glitter is fun!  Thank you honey!  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey in the Raspberry stack, and the pearls are from my stash.

Check out my other teammates Riley posts and leave them some love:
