New Year, New Changes!

This is so exciting!  New, big things are coming to blogland!  Check it out:

Tanya, who is the owner of Riley and Company, recently closed her bricks and mortar stamp store, so that she could spend more time with her online companies which included
Riley and Company (Riley; Funny Bones & Inspirations) and Cornish Heritage Farms.

In the past Riley and Company and Cornish Heritage Farms have had two different Design Teams.  From the January 1st, 2016 the two Design Teams have been combined and this blog will be our new home!

If you check out this blog you will also notice some changes!!!!!!!!

First up we have a new name ..... The Ink Spot and Frances has prettied the blog up a little with a new banner etc so check it out!

But wait there is more!!!!!!

If you read the wording under the Title on our blog header it says .... Six great stamp lines in one fun place!

Well you know about Riley and Company; Funny Bones; Inspirations; Cornish Heritage Farms; Thomas Kinkade .... what's the other one?????

Introducing .......

the web site will be opening soon so you can order.

So, phew!  That was a lot of changes, but I am very excited to be a part of this talented team of ladies to show off all these stamp lines!  Make sure you check out Facebook as well for upcoming info!

Now, on to the card!  In honor of combining the design teams Heather has challenged us to combine the stamp lines.  Make a card or project that uses a Cornish Heritage Farm stamp along with a Riley and Company stamp.
For my card I have used a Riley and Company stamp called Cheerleader Sophie and combined it with Cornish Heritage Farm sentiment digi All Star.

Don't forget to check out the awesome inspiration from the rest of the design team:
Frances          Heather       Steph       Joy
 Kelli             Monica          Sandye

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

Come and Get It - something new (new design team, new stamps!)

Sweet Stampin' - something new (new digi!)

How to Color Riley

How to Color Riley

Or in this case how to color Sophie!
The design team is posting between challenges to help those of you with Riley the Moose and Company stamps.  If you have ever wondered how we color our Moose, make sure you check out the blog and the design team links below.  We have many mediums and color combinations for you to check out!

For this post I have used this Sophie Cheerleader card that I made a few weeks back:

Here's a close-up of the image so you can see the coloring:

I used Copic markers to color Sophie.  For her dress and pom-poms I used R32, R37, and R30.
For her body I used E35 and E47.  For the antlers I used R30 again, and W1 to go around the whole image.  The glitter was added with a glue pen and diamond dust.

Here are the links to the design team so you can check out their coloring:

My First Post for Riley and Company!

Good morning to everyone!  I am just super excited to have my first post for this amazing stamp company today!  Riley and Company and Funnybones have some extremely cute stamps and hilarious sentiments!  When you are through reading my post, make sure you head on over HERE to shop!

On the Riley and Company blog today we are having a challenge.  It is a sporting challenge.  The first public basketball game was played on March 11, 1892.  In honor of that please create a card with a sporting theme!  Remember to use a Riley image and link it up on the BLOG.

For my card I have used  Cheerleader Sophie.  Isn't she a cutie?!

I colored her with my new pink copics!  Yes, I celebrated the new DT spot with a splurge on copics!  For her dress and pom-poms I used R32, R37, and R30.
For her body I used E35 and E47.  For the antlers I used R30 again, and W1 to go around the whole image.

The pink paper is from a random company, and I'm not even sure which one!  It was in my stash.  The glitter paper was made for me by my daughter, because playing with glitter is fun!  Thank you honey!  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey in the Raspberry stack, and the pearls are from my stash.

Check out my other teammates Riley posts and leave them some love:

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
