Hey everyone! Happy weekend! It's Saturday again and that means it's time for another Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle Saturday DT project! This week we want a masculine project. I know a lot of people have trouble with these, but you should challenge yourself and post with us!
I always seem to have an old standby for making masculine projects. My Stampscapes always seem to call out to me! They make some great scenes and the men in my life seem to enjoy them.
Today I used Old Mill (small), Rocky Peaks, Autumn Bank (left), Autumn Bank (right), and Water Pattern (small). I stamped all of these in Stazon ink onto 2x2 pieces of Stampbord. I colored the image by using the colorbox stylus and some makeup wedges with dye based inks. I love using the Stampbord because later on you can add in highlights by scratching a little bit of the clay off the top! I used that technique on the tops of the rocks, the outline of the waterfall, and on the rocky peaks. I wasn't sure what to do with this scene, so I scouted around for ideas and came up with putting them on a box! I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet, but I think it came out rather well!
So don't forget to make a card/project and come play in our masculine theme at SSDS! You could win 3 free images of your choice from our sponsor Fresh Brewed Designs!
