Spritzed Butterfly Card

Good morning!  It's challenge time at Dream Valley!  This time the challenge is Things with Wings.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Kenny K!  The lucky winner will receive three images of their choice!  Very cool!

Can you tell I have been a little bit into spritzing lately?  The last card I posted has some spritzing on it, this card has some spritzing on it, and keep peeking back at my blog, because the next card that I post will also have some sort of spritzing on it!  Love misting ink all over the place!

For this card I have used kraft paper and made a mask of a butterfly cut out using the Cricut.  The shimmer mist was a magenta color, and then I added a little bit of gold shimmer mist on top of that.  I added some shear yellow ribbon to balance out the gold and Voila!  Here you have it:

Vacation!

No, unfortunately I am not on vacation yet. :(  However, it is challenge time over at the Riley and Company blog!  Frances is our host this time around and she says, "National Tourist Day is May 20th."  Who knew???  In honor of this, Frances would like to see a vacation themed card, scrapbook page, or postcard!

What a great challenge Frances!  Thank you!

For my card I have used an image from the set Travel Sticker Stamps that you can find HERE in the Riley the Moose and Funnybones store.  There are a lot of neat images in this set, so be sure to check it out!

I have spritzed the background of this card in a hot pink.  I thought the teal paper really made a bold statement with the pink.  I decided to only color Riley on the stamp because I wanted to make it look like it had more depth to the scene.

Anything Goes at Dream Valley

 The weather is so nice, that I had to whip out some summer stamps!  Here's Margarita from Kraftin' Kimmie.  

I have colored her with copics, cut her out and popped her up.  Doesn't she look like she's on vacation!?!  I think I'm ready to join her!
