Z is for Zoo

A big thanks goes out to all of you who participated in our Birthday Blog Hop at ABC Challenges!  The winner of the Robyn's Fetish prize featured on my blog is......

Congratulations!!!  Make sure you check out the ABC Blog for the full list of winners and who to contact for your prize!

Now on to this weeks challenge.  The letter is Z, and Z is for Zoo.  We'd like to see you use zoo animals on your creation!  We are sponsored this week again by Robyn's Fetish:

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and
is owned by Robyn Weinrib.  Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers,
designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.

So here I have colored one of the lovely images the design team received.  When I saw how much fun this elephant was having, I just thought balloons!

I kept it simple by stamping, coloring, and cutting out the elephant and balloons, and sponged a background with blues and browns.  Strings were then wrapped around the elephants trunk and attached to the balloons!  Hope this card makes you smile!

Surprises at Dream Valley!

Hello and happy Sunday!  I'm a scheduling this post as nine year old is playing one of possibly two baseball tournament games today.  Go Barrington!

It has been baseball, baseball, baseball around here, but I managed to make this card for Dream Valley in between times!  This fortnight we would like to see a surprise on your creation.  It could be a surprise fold, pop up etc.  Our sponsor is Digi's With Attitude.

I have made a napkin fold card.  You can find the tutorial for it here.  Here is a picture of the first layer:

here it is all decorated:

and here is the finished product all folded together:

I got all of the prep work done, looked at it and then decided not to decorate it anymore!  I liked it the way it was.  The only problem with that is that there's no stamping!  Eek!  Oh well, I like it anyway! lol Just a tip:  If you are making the napkin fold card, use a colored base paper instead of white, then you don't need as much patterned paper to cover it all.  Saves more dp for later!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Tip Top Tuesday - Shaped card
Totally Gorjuss #90 - Punch or Die Cut
